I agree with you here. Our offensive line sucks. Jake isn't getting any time to throw, the backs aren't getting any blocks and I don't see things changing anytime soon. That being said I watched to great Quarterbacks last night in the NY Jets / Miami Dolphins game. Jake is not in the league with either.

B-?!?!? The running game went to where every team knows we are going to run and that Jake's passing is sketchy, so they play the run and make Jake win in the air....his weakness. That's why he's a liability.

Neither Sanchez nor Henne are great QBs...yet. Sanchez, for example, was 12/24 for 172 yards last night...hardly great. I think both have a ton of upside...which is something we all know Jake doesn't have. But let's not start putting either of these guys in the 'great' category after just a few games each.

It's never too early to declare someone great.

It wasn't a very good performance. Even on King's TD, he almost overthrew him and the ************ was wide open. We won that game in spite of the entire offense.

I'll rephrase that. They both looked great to me last night. Unlike Jake, they made the big plays when their team needed them.

    yep.
I mean, sure, they were unfortunate on this one.
But they had a winless team 17-2.
And we gave them 14 of those 17 essentially for free, so they can take the hit for giving up 18 unanswered points.

We were lucky, but then again the fumble into the end zone; 3 other downs we'd have had a TD, that just happened to be the one down where that was taboo. Which was lucky for them.

I wish I'd have had the time to read a Redskins board Sunday night and Monday. Would have been entertaining.
