How do you grade him after his performance this week.....

I wounld say maybe a high C low B. He played good enough to get the win but still not that great

C- referee's pulled his ass out on the cheap punt call. We'll see how he does this week.

I agree that he has to have a good week. I am actually just happy that they stuck with the run a little bit more this week but there was a time in the game when I believe is was like 4 and in and the Panthers tried to draw them offsides which I thought was kind of cheap just because it was after a time out. If your going to do that you need to do it in a hurry right after the last play or something not after a time out

    Sometimes here, sometimes there
grading on a bell curve, considering the 32 starting QBs plus a coupla backups who have started as well, I'd say a C-/D+ overall.

I'd give him a B-. He lost the first game but he's been solid since then. I'm beinning to wonder where the running game went though...

i did too until i read up on it. i thought it sucked that we won on a ref's call. shit, i didn't know and they sure as hell didn't explain on tv that if the dude is blocking you're allowed to block him into the fair catcher. i don't think they knew.

players on both teams knew the rule and even commented that they have either talked about it or worked on it in training camp. It was a fortunate play, sure. But so was Deangelo fumbling on the first play of the game.

I hear you. I was just trying to understand from Tony what significance the call had on Jake's performance. He didn't play spectacular, but made enough throws to put us in position to win...which we did.

it wasnt his fault that deangelo fumbled. it wasnt his fault that we couldn't punch it in from the two yard line on first and goal. It wasnt his fault that we averaged 2.7 yards per carry on the ground.
