    I was not for dumping Jake after the awful playoff game. I do think they should have brought in a viable alternative to him as a back up should his struggles continue. I doubt Jake is still starting if that had happened.

    Fair enough. Let me clarify, then: I don't believe his physical skill has diminished much, just his confidence in that skill. When I typed 'throw' I was referring to his physical ability to launch the ball to a target.

    Kirwan wasn't blaming smith so much as the lack of speed opposite him. Smith is seing more cloud coverage now than ever before, and more trouble beating because of that.

    its not only his accuracy, he is missing a lot of open receivers, which would obviously make his life a lot easier.

    In other news, not only does Silver Surfer like having his picture taken Hooter girls, he likes having his picuture talken with women with large breasts.

    Not only am I hungover, I have a headache from drinking too much yesterday.

    Not only would mags argue with a wall, he likes to argue with verticle structures as well.

    In other news, Jake sucks. Just run DW and JS tomorrow like we did at Tampa last week, forget about Jake. If we can play some D and run the ball, we don't even need to pass.

    It would have been a guy who was not necessarily a starter but better than McCown. A guy like Boller, Sims, etc.

    Boller is an INT waiting to happen, and Simms hasn't shown anything worthwhile since the injury, those guys are in the same league as McCown right now.
