Scary. Remember those articles about Smitty maturing, turning 30, etc. I guess he turned suck. Someone needs to tell him so he caves their face in and catches 15 balls the next week.

At this point I actually do believe that there are 100 guys out there better than Jake.

Wow....the emperor has no clothes....accept it. You have done poorly in QB assessments on this board, and if the Pro Bowl indicates talent, then Jeff Garcia is 3 times better than Jake, right?

Jake has never been, and I have never claimed different, better or worse (to this point, anyways) than a mediocre NFL QB. I never said he was terrible, but since claiming that makes you look or feel better, have at it. You're a fucking Jake homer, you always have been and you are no different than our front office with that respect. The only difference is your opinion means squat, their opinion means we have no viable QB option for some time now without some trade/draft miracle.

This was your first post in this thread.

You said Pre-surgery he wasn't much better than he is now. That's a lie. That's not even close to the truth. He is much worse now. Even if he was only mediocre before, he is terrible now.

Why would anybody blame the receiver play? Smith is still a great receiver. He made great plays last year in spite of Delhomme, and he hasn't done anything this year to make me believe that he's turned to suck overnight. He's one of the last things we need to worry about.
