    Lots of great memories. I just had a sick feeling after the Arizona playoff loss that that was our best shot at another SB appearance. Maybe not, but aside from Jake's meltdown, I felt really good about the team's chances.

    It's sad for Delhomme. He brought a lot to the team, but it was definitely something that had to happen. If there was no other reason it was to get out of the contract. I think Moore will do ok, but we need to find someone else just in case.

    I remembered when we signed Jake as a 30 year old, most of us felt we had a good 5 year window to do something special. Say what you want about the Ragin Cajun but he's taken his team farther than Jay Cutler and Philip Rivers has taken their respesctive teams. The playoff game against Arizona, as bad as it was, I still had confidence in him. But the meltdown to begin this past season was even enough for me.

    I think his arm is still strong after the tommy john surgery, he just lost control of it... he was never a great QB to begin with. He's the underdog we all loved to see win.
