but a 52 yard FG isn't that hard to make.

more automatic than the rest of our special teams. Pooch punt works when you don't do it this much.

    Plus, we needed the points.

Can anyone remember the last kick he had to result in a touch back? I read earlier in the season where he is either last or real close to last in that category. A few of those would hide our shitty Special team play

He got one to the goal line last week. I took note because it's a rare thing the last several years.

And he missed from 47 last week I think, I believe today the 52 would have been into the wind. The pooch punt wasn't a horrible idea, but it was horrible execution.

Yes, it was. If you're going to punt, line up with the fucking punter so you have your regular coverage team. Do that and the worst case scenario has the ball going into the endzone.

Coffin corner executed properly, it wouldn't have been a problem. Though yes, a regular punt formation could have done the same thing.

I was wondering why he didn't kick it OB and not t the center of the field where Gross was the main cover man. Gross. You can't punt and have a possibility of a return with all bg linemen to cover. Sheesh.
