When Jake was in there the new offense was humming. He was on pace for a pro bowl type year. Since then we have struggled to do anything on offense. Carr is a train wreck and Vinny only looks good compared to Carr. If Jake were healthy this team would be in the playoffs for sure.

Coming into the year I thought we had a good shot, yes. I thought we would be able to run the ball with Wahle, Hartwig and Wharton all healthy but it has not made much difference. I thought Peppers would continue to be great but he has fallen off a whole lot.

Of course its not, once he was passed over as team president here, he took the GM and president position in Indy.

Looks like the wild card will come out of the east and the Saints are coming on strong, if the schedule plays out as you suggest, it will leave us on the outside looking in, which it looks like we are trying to earn.

Maybe that's because they stuck with Poilan when they were losing and they stuck with Poilan when they could win in the regular season but could not win a playoff game to save there asses despite having Manning/Harrison/James before they let Edge go. Look, not trying to say Hurney will be better or worse than Poilan, but facts are the Panthers have had more success on the field in Hurney's tenure than the Colt's did under the same time frame with Poilan.

I'll take 14-2 every year, at least you think that team has a chance everytime they take the field, we're pathetic.

Polian lucked into Peyton Manning. He is the best QB in the league and has been for some time. Take away that and Polian does not look so great. I will concede however that he has generally done a better job than our guys have.

If Poilan's the reason the Colt's are successful now, then if you had your way he'd already be gone based on his lack of success in is earlier years with the Colts. My point is simply Hurney has had more success in the same time frame than Poilan. It's just a fact. If you don't like Hurney and want him gone then fine, but please don't pretend that Poilan has had Indy humming with success since he arrived. It took a long time for that organization to reach it's current level. If you went 4-5 years without out making any kind of run in the playoffs, without even sniffing an AFC Championship game or Super Bowl, and the entire time you had the super trio of Manning/Harrison/James, would you be shouting for coaching and GM changes? My guess is YES, you would have.
