    Yeah, assuming the spotter is correct (and I assume he is on radio), this sounds like either a communication failure or a brake failure. Either way, guy never had a chance at that speed.

    Here's a link to the vid in spanish. Lara hit some debris about a second before impact that shredded his tire. You have to wonder with his spotter telling him to go low if he was just going to continue downward below the wreck until his tire vaporized. Tragic.
