Word out of Iowa City is that Greenway basically duplicated his efforts in the combine...not good! Appearently, he tweaked a hammy on his second 40 and struggled through the rest of the day.
Abdul Hodge is rumored to have looked more impressive than at the combine, which from what I saw he did quite well in Indy.
Brian Ferentz also participated, but I did not hear how he did and frankly, the kid probably shouldn't have been playing D1 ball in the first place, but he could catch on somewhere as a long snapper, with his experience at Center and his athleticism he could contribute on special teams, but not much more.
Clinton Solomon was highly rated coming into the season, but failed to post even respectable numbers on the year. He's a big body WR (6'6 215 or so) with decent hands and speed, but he simply disappeared this year after being rated as a top 5 WR at the beginning of the season. Some have said he was hindered by injuries all year and if that is the case, he appears to be chronically injured. Which SUCKS, he's a class act!
Ed Hinkle was there, but no mention of his productivity. He'd make someone a fine #4-#5 WR with his hands and return experience

Brad Banks was in the hizzy as was Warren Holloway (caught the hail mary game winner against LSU, but did little else) working out for a shot at a FA contract somewhere. Banks has been QBing up in Canada and doing very well, but if he wants a shot in the NFL, he should consider moving to WR or DB...Holloway doesn't have a chance in hell.

I wish I could have posted more details, but the newspaper coverage of the days events absolutely SUCKED. I wonder if they even sent anyone down and if they did, I wonder if this individual still has a fucking job.
Word gets around quickly though, and usually the rumors are extremely fluffed, but the people I talked to are pretty well connected to the university and get the low down pretty accurately.

Thanks for the down low. I'm disappointed about Greenway, mainly because it increases the chance that he won't be taken before our pick.

His speed boggles my mind, he plays alot faster than he timed. Maybe it's just his instincts, because he always seems to be in the right place at the right time and it's not like guys are flat out running him in the open field either.
Some guys run as well in pads as they do without and most lose a step with the gear. My thinking is Greenway is as fast with pads as without. Personally, most skill players could outrun me in a footrace when I played, but I was faster than many when we were in full gear. So it doesn't mean as much to me as it may to some, but it does look bad on paper.
