Anyone watch this last night? They were talking about how the Bears went on the road and shut us down in Carolina earlier this year. They even showed clips from the game but apparently no one realized it was in Chicago.

    :wtf23:

3 of the 4 used that reasoning to pick the Bears to win in Chicago this weekend. Costas was the only one that picked us.

Considering they dominated both lines of scrimmage, I don't know why anyone would pick us.

There is no place for decent football analysis anymore. And regarding the game, I'm getting really confident about our chances.

I saw it the other night. We are doomed with Costas picking us. It should be noted though that he is the dweeb that said we last played in Charlotte.

Thats been bugging me for a couple of days now.

Didn't Philly spank our asses in a similar manner in the 2003 regular season?

Bill Simmons on espn page 2. He's the barometer. I swear we have been 100% the other way from his pick on our games.

Sharpe and Baldinger (NFL Playbook) both picked NY last week. Baldinger's reasoning was that NY had better 'leadership' and that their guys had been in the pos and SB before and therefore knew how to get it done in the postseason.

They both picked Chic this week. Sharpe thought it would be a lot higher scoring than anyone expected, yet picked them in a shootout. Baldinger said mainly they were rested, we are beat up, and we won't be able to run and that Jake will get sacked all day.

They picked wash I believe cause their d would dominate the hawks.

It's cool. Let everyone 'pick' the other guys right on thru the SB.

It IS amazing that the pundits get paid for analysis and face time, yet I wonder if hey really have ever actually seen any of the teams they discuss at length play. Cause a bunch of em talk about stuff that are absolutely unfactual and not real.

Most everyone talks about what a defensive game it's gonna be. Sure, they 'dominated' us to a point last game. Everyone touts their D as being "number 2 in NFL!", yet fail to follow up (whether they know it or not) that Carolina is number 3.

I have confidence that our O can do better against #2 D, than their O can do against #3 D. As long as Jake doesn't make a huge bonehead play(s) like last time.

And whether they are home or not makes no difference, imo.

Philly beat us and so did Dallas if I remember correctly. Kasay missed several in the Philly game.

Nobody gave a snowball's chance in Hell in the SB either.
