I have Adobe Photo 7 on my kids computer. It loads and works fine on everyones desktop (4 seperate desktops) except for my youngest daughters. She's the one that wants to use it. Any fresh ideas would be helpful.

and no i'm not reformatting. :)

It runs fine on all desktops except for the one. It begins loading then when it begins to initialize it just disappears.

Used a cd to load it. Yes I'm connected to the internet. It loaded with no problem, it just won't run on the one desktop.

what happens if you create a new user account and try it from a new user? if it works, then you can figure your daughter's registry is funky. if it doesn't work, then you can figure that the other registries are have something special set in them...

try disconnecting from the network and loading it. Not sure if PS7 is one of them, but some programs will only allow a certain number of installations and/or instances of the installation at one time.

    uninstall/reinstall

use the Add/Remove Programs Control Panel to remove it completely, boot, then do a fresh install

There are still some program parasites that linger on when using the uninstall. Some latch on to a registry and won`t let go unless pulled out.
