Got your ex-drug dealing RB covering up murder charges and telling the coach to fuck off because he's the best.

Got your washed up RB that keeps finding a way to play and oh by the way he beat his wife and knocked out other players on the team.

    Got your nonexistant WR's

Got your hooker loving QB that gets shotup so he can play.

Got your crazy half cocked LB that has a personality complex.

Got your fat ass lineman that only gets mentioned when he fucks up.

Got your closet homo that gets thrown off the team.

It ain't as good as the Panthers off the field issues, but it's pretty close. Next season they will introduce the black rookie WR that knocks off his wife then tries to hide in the trunk of a car in the whitest town in America, the RB that gets shot by his wife for beating her ass, the QB that has a nervous breakdown and quits after a bout with alcholism, the crazy wrestler wantabe LB that attacks coaches on the sidelines, the fat overpaid DL that costs the team 2 first round draft picks, the WR that totes guns and drugs across state and a washed up coach that wants to be drinking beer in the stands in San Fran.

Now that I think about it, Playmakers ain't nothing like the NFL. The characters aren't fucked up enough.

They don't have an overrated quarterback of color.

The NFL and NFLPA are all pissed off about it. Theisman was bitching and whining about it on the DAn PAtrick show yeaterday. ESPN might not do a second season becasue of fears of losing the NFL contracts for Sunday Night FOotball.

What a bunch of self-serious crybabies. The show must have struck a nerve.

I have heard from NFL people that it's not realistic.....but damn if don't seem like an average year for most teams in the NFL.

I really don't see this as anything more than the sensationalizing of behind the scenes... like NYPD BLUE or any other action show on TV really. We all know that shit is embellished.

Who cares? It's a TV fictional drama.
