    Stats people are transferring the regression model on baseball teams excessively winning or losing 1 run games to football and its 7 point games, which Carolina has been incredibly bad at over the last two seasons. They think the Panthers should be 50/50 in those games going forward, and thus project a better record.

    I expect a similar story to the last two years. Plenty of close games with frustrating finishes. Maybe we improve by another game or two but there's plenty of NFC opponents who will be ready to facerape our offensive line.
