    yes. Note I said all the fans are running and are responsive to the power switch when I turn it on. Just nothign else happens.

    I just no realized that I've made all these posts as turf. I was on his machine as mine was obviously less than fully operational.

    So if I go with a whole new setup, I'm leaning towards the AMD 64's. I'm assuming the "Sempron" is just a new name for "duron" which is an old latin word for "shit". Would I be correct in this assumption?
