    the legitimacy of FF or goallineblitz isn't what I'm questioning. I'm just not understanding the idea that real football isn't interesting anymore.

    Is it just "well, we still have Fox/Hurney, so this can't be going anywhere"?

    I don't see how this is relevant aside from you wanting to pretend that you're somehow superior because you look down on fantasy football, but to answer your question, I've been telling people that I'm tired of fantasy football as well. I don't think I even had a fantasy team last year.

    For a lot of people, yeah, I think that's a large part of it. The division created in the fan base has taken some enjoyment out of it for me, not as far as watching, but definitely media and message boards.

    Did someone post that? I haven't seen it. But if you are relating your comment to the Panthers and the fact that some of their fans are no longer "invested emotionally" to the team. I certainly can understand that. It's kind of tough to expect the fans not to lose some interest when some of the Panther players i.e. Julius Peppers, seems to have lost interest as well.

    One can make all the excuses they want, the bottom line is they are a boring team with a so called superstar as the example setter.

    an average, conservative team with a churchy homefield can make it hard to be super pumped year after year
