Again, he's a great college quarterback. Good mechanics, quicky compact release, accurate. Just like Danny Wueffel.

But he's small. I doubt he's even 6 feet tall. Throws off his back foot a lot, though Florida tends to allow free rushers. He doesn't have a great arm. And when pressured, he's had his bad moments. OSU applied zero pressure.

Not saying he can't have good success, but he's not a first round pick. Nobody will take him that high.

well, obviously not--the body of work is vastly different. Again, just spitballing...but the "what if" is quite intriguing.

froze frame at several points when they met after the game and he seemed to be exactly the same height as Smith

Smith himself is right around 6 foot, and it's one of the main reason's he isn't rated higher, despite his arm and athletic ability.

I'd jump on him later, sure.

He's got a lot of mental toughness. A lot of guys would have cracked with the crap Florida fans were slinging the last few years. He's been steady and classy, and seems to forget about any bad plays or boos.

I think Leak will wind up going somewhere and sticking around for a while in the league. He doesn't have the size to be a high draft pick, but he's got the ability and intelligence to pick up a system and succed wherever he wind up.

Solarte, I was gonna post a Leak thread also. I remember seeing him with a buddy when he was still in high school. I was impressed. He looked faster than all of them and had a great highschool arm. I followed him casually during his stay at FLA, but not to focused.

What where his flaws? Why do some posters here not like his game? He moves and is agile. That can make up for any issues with his height. I like the pick in the 2nd like a free meal at a fancy restaurant.
