I have a question

    Why must one believe the bible in order to believe in God? Why do you have to go through Jesus? Why can you not go directly to God? Does he hide behind Jesus? Yeah,Yeah,Yeah. The whole father,son holy ghost three in one thing.

    I fully believe in God but the bible still stands in my eyes, as the best selling fictional book out there! It is a good set of guidelines and stories but to believe that it is the one and only truth is just foolish.

    Of course. I think the "proof" she's referring to is the Second Coming. If the Bible is true, and Jesus returns (especially in the manner described in Revelation), there will be no doubt remaining.

    Why would it be either/or? Why not both/and?

    Not from Revelation (that I know of), but several from the Old Testament have.
