My comparisson was overall yards for the season and how Gamble and branch have held their on!

I'm sure there are several passing yards like to TE that the LB's in that front 7 also tacked on to the passing yards for the season.

Secondary is not the problem on the defense as was predicted by most.

    Thanks

Football isn't that complicated. Moose (first) and Jake screwed it up, then the defense laid down. You can put all kinds of words and statistics on it, but that's the way it happened. Just like Monday night, when the KC line pimp-slapped Ray Lewis & Co in Baltimore. It happens. Get over it. Move on.

Yes and yes. Teams who give up run yards do better overall statistically.
I don't think Jenkins is a stopper like Henderson, Stroud, and Washington. He's a penetrator, like John Randall. Maybe teams are scheming for him better. Randall was also up and down against the run.

    from Boo:

<<the D-Line problems started with the superbowl...and have not gotten better. Maybe Bill figured something out and everybody else is copying it??>>

I just read that NE used alot of cut blocking in the SB. It sounded like they hadn't done that before that game. Atlanta brought in the cut blocking coach. I read GB trapped alot. It seems like these teams are using our own aggressiveness against us.

The run D has sprung leaks, but has not been consistently bad. That seems consistent with the fact that they're running themselves into bad positions.

If cut blocking is the problem, we will surely see more this weekend.
