    i think the plan is obviously to tank 2010 to get the #1 pick in the draft.

    so, if there's no 2011 season, would we get the #1 pick for both of the next two years? when would we have to sign our 2010 picks? maybe we could draft a franchise QB under some new deal that limits that amount that rooks can be paid?

    I'm guessing they'd do something similar to what the NHL did for it's post lock-out draft order. They had a lottery that was weighted by playoff appearances in over previous few seasons.

    There will be a 2011 draft. That is covered under the current CBA.
