I think part of that's Hurney, but I'll go back to Sean Gilbert, I'll go to him at Deshaun Foster's bedside, there are plenty of ways JR himself helped get that done.

And it's his team, so fair enough. But in the end, those made him say, well, if we're not going to have those guys, we can rebuild. Which makes sense. I don't think anyone expected it to be this bad though, and maybe we really only have to do this once a decade.

    it does.

I listened to it. Gantt sounds rednecky. I don't think these yahoos burned anybody, maybe I misinterpreted the twits I'd read but it seemed like there was a feeling like Hurney was taken to task.
I don't get a shaky feeling from Hurney.

he did say it's an offensive league. Don't know if that foreshadows. Certainly, it's where the league seems to be, and the O is what needs fixing. I would want Meeks to stay for an O coach, but another guy could caretake. As long as it's not Clancy Pendergrass.

HOLY SHIT! He really said that?!?!? Not good. That is definately not the usual GM response. Ever. That or he is screwing with them and turning Fox's "day to day" on them to watch the ensuing frenzy.

That is not how it came across. He was talking about Fox taking it week to week...preparing for each opponent and trying to win games.

Thanks for the clarification. I almost got the vapors when I first read that.
