    $8 is probably reasonable. He's unskilled enough for 5 but the extra 3 may be enough motivation to get the guy to put in a little effort.

    He claims to be a roofer and says he does siding as well. I'm going to work with him on the drywall, so if he doesn't work hard enough, I'll know it immediately. No smoking fatties until after the work is done!
