I work with handheld wireless devices, typically using terminal emulation to a Unix box or an AS/400.

I don't much care for client server work.

I do have a Lotus Notes server, and have had one for about 5 years.

How does a mofo sell a printer? I'd like to see that.

I don't know if you would call it "the technology business", but I work with servers, workstations, pc's, mac, all networked with imagesetters, high-end wide format printers, proofers, and RIPS, and CTP. I work for a printing company in prepress and graphic design.

Our server is pretty cool, 100gig, 4-2.1ghz Pentiums w/gigabit.

More so than I want to be. We don't have an IT guy and don't really have a need for a full time guy. I am more of a "hobbyist" and enjoy working with computers. We have a Unix server, use emulation software, routers and a frame relay to connect to computers in the field. I do most of the configuring myself although I often receive help from you guys. Technology is not our business but it's necessary to do our business well. I enjoy what I do and am not in the job market but I often think when we need an IT guy I would certainly give a look to TBR.

I am technology incarnate! Fear me!

In my life outside of my pea brain, I'm a consultant designing enterprise IT solutions, typically around Windows, Exchange, and/or SMS. Mostly 5000+ PC, 100+ server environments.

And I can bake 5 minute brownies in 1 minute.
