How do you synchronize the radio with the TV?

I used to enjoy watching the games on TV while listening to the play-by-play on the radio. However, about two years ago I noticed that the TV broadcast was delayed 2 - 3 seconds behind the radio broadcast. This resulted in Bill Rosinski's appearing to be able to predict the future by about 2 - 3 seconds.

I guess I could set the radio from between 1500 - 2250 feet from the TV and turn it up REALLY LOUD, but I think the HOA where I live wouldn't stand for that.

Has anyone had any success synchronizing the radio broadcast to the TV broadcast?

It's always been that way. The tv signal has to go through back & forth to space a couple of times, while radio doesn't.

If you have DVR or TiVo just pause the game for three seconds and then hit play.

Has anyone tried listening to the radio on Sirius to see if the delay matches that of the TV picture?

The delay problem is that the TV picture is behind the radio. How do you delay the radio broadcast is the question.

not sure but I think it has something to do with the tv broadcast going through a satellite which delays it by a couple seconds.

If someone would just invent a TV with speakers, the tv companies could hire play by play folks and we wouldnt have this problem.
