I can probably understand him as well as I understand LaMelo

Charlotte fans losing the minds over the fact Lamelo could be traded.

Basically, you will never win the big one with him, and his value will never be higher, so probably a good strategic move to get something from the value

    Just for fun.

Trading LaMelo Ball and Miles Bridges for Jaylen Brown works structurally under NBA Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) rules, as their combined salaries closely match Brown's lucrative supermax extension. However, making this blockbuster deal realistic for both franchises requires additional elements to align with their respective team-building timelines.

    The Trade Scenario
    Charlotte Hornets Receive:
    • Jaylen Brown (from Boston)
    • Draft Capital: Likely a future first-round pick.
    Boston Celtics Receive:
    • LaMelo Ball (from Charlotte)
    • Miles Bridges (from Charlotte)

"After dealing with injuries and inconsistency during his first five NBA seasons, Ball is coming off one of the best campaigns of his career. His scoring numbers declined to 20.1 points per game as he deferred to teammates more often, but he proved that he can be a reliable on-court leader for a winning team." per Michael Scotto of HoopsHype ...

Evidently all Scotto has seen are Melo's highlights. It took Kon to show him not to be "diva" like. All the regular season fans know that when Coach busted Melo's eyelid that Melo would have normally missed several games from that, but Melo also knows that Kon would have gotten stitched up and finished the game. Melo's new found pride put him back on the floor that night. As long as the team continues to win I don't really care who is doing it.

    Ball is gone

He is traded to Minnesota for an odd package. Not sure we got the value we wanted.

I don't think Charlotte is finish trading

Curious to see how the team progresses being Ball-less. I've repeatedly voiced my displeasure with Ball's play, both offensively and defensively. I'm sure he and Edwards will do good things for the Timberwolves.

"But the bigger draw for Charlotte is the money and picks involved. In addition to shedding Ball's contract in this deal, the Hornets created a $40.7 million trade exception, which is the largest in NBA history, according to ESPN's Bobby Marks."

"(Editor's note: Shortly after this grade was posted, Charania reported that White intends to sign a three-year, $74 million with the Hornets.) "
