Hornets Season 25-26

How much you want to bet that the first pick in the draft for the Hornets will be the Phoenix pick? Only about 4 or 5 picks separating them now with teams heading in different directions

 

29-31 after beating a sucky Pacers team by 24 tonight.

 

In looking through the rest of their games, it seems very easy that the Hornets will get past 40 wins, which would be incredible.

42-44 wins is my guess barring injuries

 

If that ends up being so then how can Kon not get ROTY? Flagg has missed a few games and his team has a worse record. I think Kon has shown the other Hornets what tough really looks like and they will play through little tweaks and strains whereas last year they didn't/wouldn't. That rolled ankle that Kon had would have kept Ball out at least a week or two last year. Shit, Ball is even trying harder on defense. Who knew a white boy from Milwaukee could make this much difference in team chemistry?
The Hornets last 3 losses have been by a total of 10 or 11 points. Those 3 losses are in the last 17 games and 2 of those are when 2 starters were suspended. Even if they start struggling it has still been a remarkable season.
30-31 on the season.

 

15-3 in last 18 games is pretty remarkable
One cool thing is that the coach is getting them out of the game and letting 2nd and 3rd string play. This not only gets these guys some experience, but shows that the team is not about individual stats
