PJ Washington traded to Dallas for Grant Williams and Seth Curry and a 2027 first round pick.
I don't hate it.
Also Miles Bridges has taken himself off any trading block and says he will finish out the year as a Hornet.
I don't hate that either.

 

The Gordon Hayward Era is officially finished.

Hours after The Observer reported his time was up in Charlotte, the Hornets reportedly agreed to send their highest-paid player to Oklahoma City for Tre Mann and Dāvis Bertāns point guard Vasilije Micic and two second round draft picks(2024&2025)

So that makes 3 old starters gone.
Rozier, Hayward, PJ Washington.
The updated roster can't be much worse than the old one.

 

Can we get a first back for "never on the court" Lamelo Ball?

 

Probably get a top 5 pick this year.

Shooting Guard or Point Guard would be nice. If we get lucky for number 1 pick, maybe the 7'1" Center.

I've been very happy with Miller, but Ball has been oft injured disappointment.

The 5 new team members played for the first time in tonight's game. The Hornets ended up shooting over 57% for the game and won by 9.

The Hornets have unfortunately or not positioned themselves up for a fan revolt if they move Lamelo.
Personally, it wouldn't bother me to see him gone. Fans should have gotten used to seeing him not playing here with all his missed injury time.
