Hornets lose, they are number 1 in draft at this point?

    Let me guess.
There is a NBA tanking website too.

Hard to believe, but the Hornets actually lost at home to a team with a worse record than theirs.

The Hornets are 7-22 after tonight's home loss.
It's become painfully obvious that they have nowhere near the talent to compete consistently,
The team isn't quick enough or dedicated enough to play defense.
Clifford had a good track record, but he can't make chicken salad out of this chicken shit.
I know it's impossible to blow the team up in a short amount of time, but the first two I would trade off are Terry Rozier and Kelly Oubre. Getting rid of these two "starters" would be addition by subtraction.
They really don't have a quality center, but I would keep Richards over Plumlee.
Draft choices have been terrible and haven't panned out for the most part. The bench can't come in and generate any positive minutes. Other than Ball I don't see anyone on the team starting for any other NBA team.
Easily the worst thing to happen to this Hornet's team this year, other than a boatload of injuries, is the Miles Bridges stupidity.
It's shaping up to be a long boring season.

BTW, yes the Hornets do have the worst record currently in the league.

And a defensive specialist as the head coach, that was brought back for his defensive prowess.
We just played Detroit (the worst record before the game in the NBA) and gave up 140+

You can't see my face right now, but it has a shocked look on it...

"The Hornets are also likely to be without Gordon Hayward for their Wednesday night game against Memphis after he injured his hamstring Monday night in a loss to the Los Angeles Lakers."
