I got no problem with this move, or the Jake move, or the Kimo move. We're cutting aging players making too much money.

but he played less and less. That back won't heal with another 30 reps a game once November hits again.

possibly, but see no reason for this cut unless he was due a big roster bonus.

    sad but true
One of my favorite Moore td passes was to Hoov, he must have been shocked when he turned and see the ball coming

$100,000. His salary was around 900K. So, a mil isn't a ton, but again he was becoming less reliable.

Last year at training camp he came up and signed my little boys football. But he actually spent time picking with him. Good local guy, one of my all time favorite Panther players. Hope he catches on somewhere else if he wants to play. Anybody think maybe Kasay's next?

I think it all ties to delhomme and peppers.

Fox and Hurney always preached core continuity - keep your core.

Delhomme and Peppers were the leaders on both sides. That's over. Coupled with a dead money purge in a capless year, they're taking this opportunity to pretty much completely re-toll the roster - not necessarily just about money, but maybe about personality and chemistry.

Exciting as hell. Anything could happen tomorrow.

I won't judge it until next year. Lots of moves are coming.

    And Hoover's not a surprise.

    Could be.

Can you imagine the first speech of OTA's?

Yeah, I realize his back wouldn't hold up. But even with his issues, he still made the run game better when he was out there.

That's the one that makes no sense. You cut Lloyd, but keep Kasay? Completely backwards from every other move they've made so far.
