I've had my 50" Hitachi for about 8 years now...it still has a beautiful picture, especially after I opened it up and cleaned the guns & mirror. My cable box has a couple of HD channels and watching those channels is pretty awesome. There's no way I'm going out to buy a HD TV unless it's atleast a 60".

Once I'm ready to shell out the extra $ for HD service, I might upgrade, and when I do, it'll be with DirecTV

I gotta pimp plasma I won't get into the tech specs, but hanging a display on the wall is really fucking convenient. I have a large TV, and it's up and out of the way, and has NO dedicated piece of furniture.

I don't ever want to go back a standard type display.
