You said earlier that this week would go a long ways in helping you know what to do with Foster. What do you think happens now?

I hate to say it, but I think we let him go.

Kasay just lost footing. I say he stays.

sad to say but his price dropped today, he had some good runs before he went down, I'd let the market dicatae his value and see where it is. realistically, maybe we can concentrate on Spoon now and just let the Foster thing play itself out, other backs in the same position, Alexander with the concussion comes to mind, and an overall deep FA class. wrap up Spoon, then worry about a RB.

Kasay? ughh, I don't know what to do.

Pitch, don't be hatin' on Kasay so bad. Like Brain said, Kasay lost his footing. Wasn't his fault. I think the Bears sanded down the field to try to slow Smitty some. It didn't work and I think it came back to bite them in the ass. They lost their safety, Brown; they lost Mr. "let me talk shit about the Panthers and get them even MORE fired up" Onlyeye (I can't spell his name but you know who I mean); they lost some some other guys, too.
Now, if Kasay had pulled a Vanderjagt, I'd be right there with you with saying "Chunk Kasay!"

    just to note:

on our second drive, we get down to the Bears 34.5 yard line (lets call it the 35) 4th and 8, and the Panthers elect to punt from instead of sending in Kasay for a 52.

I'd probably have done the same thing givin the early nature of the game, but isn't the reason Kasay is here is because he was better at 50+ then Opie?

Chicago, like Pittsburgh, is a very tough place to kick. If it had been a home game then I think there's a good chance we would have gone for it.

Fox is big on field position. Not much to wonder about.

And Foxy has also said in the past that a punt is not a bad thing.
