    If it's true, then we will not be in the playoffs for a couple years. It's not easy to overhaul an offensive plan and be any good for atleast a season or two.

    I guess that's cool, but he's the best damned offensive coordinator we've ever had. I'm a little sad to see him go.

    This firing indicats that there will be major changes on the offense. Smith is the only player I see as "SAFE" A new coordinator could clean house.

    theres hope,Saints won 3 games last year and have a new OC this year...

    as far as Henning, its been frustrating at times. the front office/Fox saw it fit to fire him. wonder why they waited a couple of weeks to do it?

    If they change the offensive plan, then we will struggle. We are conservative for a reason.

    The Saints had a great offensive nucleus.

    Exactly. That's the way Fox wants it. That's why he loved Henning. They seemed to be on the same page.
