I said "aside from those two years." I'm going to assume that you had difficulty reading instead of it being a case of you lying again.
No, no. I got caught up in exposing your bullshit. We can disagree and be fine, but you'll have problems with me when you bullshit. It was stupid to say that our offence has been crappy every year, and it was stupid to say that yards are more important than points. I exposed both statements as complete bullshit that you could not defend logically, and hopefully you will avoid speaking such nonsense in the future.

See magnus, it only took three weeks of me being gone to behave in exactly the same brow-beating manner that I do, and which you claim to despise. As I told you before I left, you do the same thing, but you pretended that you had changed. You hadn't. It's still there within you, only you browbeat people to gain authority over them, whereas I don't give a rat's ass about status. I don't need the approval or admiration of others the way that you do, I only care about knowledge and truth. If I didn't, I'd be a hell of a lot more diplomatic.

It's not only related, it's the same thing. You claimed that the best way to evaluate offensive and defensive units was to look at their yardage rankings, but then you back-peddled and admitted that the 1996 defense shouldn't be considered "crappy" because they only ranked 12th in yardage allowed.

You obviously know that, as does anyone who reads this drivel, you just can't bring yourself to admit it. This must be utterly humiliating for you, although you'll obviously deny that as well. I'm sure you felt like the alpha dog again while I was gone.

No it's not. Both your "examples" were of extenuating circumstances - Weinke's yards in trash time, a defense that was exceptional at almost everything and just gave up pass yards.

Neither. I can address your statements without having to adhere strictly to your own criteria. Over the five years, below average. Taking out the two worst years of anything's going to make anything look better.

Not at all, really (see - there's the "trap" - I have to agree or I'm full of shit, right? There's no option where you afford yourself being 'wrong', and to boot, you came in here and jumped my shit in anger to attempt to prove yourself right). At no time have I gotten anywhere near your daily actions.

Nice try, though. It attempts to validate what you do, just as this supposed "truth" posturing pretends you have the need to insult people you disagree with. That was even a nice touch there that one time, claiming I was the one who cared about my ego. Clearly, it's the other end, "alpha dog".

back to the initial statement because fending off dickwagging hasn't really afforded much actual discussion.

The biggest concern is that almost everyone seems to say this. Wahle came out against some of the things this staff's done, I'd thought, last year. I think it's been a miracle that Smith and Johnson haven't gone to the press, a testament to Fox, I guess. And yet it's not just booing when we go almost a quarter without a first down. It's not just fans looking for someone to scapegoat. There are almost always big problems, despite our talent.

this is true. We've had fits and spurts of being able to run, and while it'd be great to have an array of elite back after elite back, it doesn't work that way.
I do believe Skipper has the ability to freshen things up. I think that's our "other option", though. Realistically there's not much else we'd do. I'm fine with that, just as I'm fine with Henning staying. I just don't like what we've been doing on offense most of this year, and it's not just excused by execution.

We've been sloppy on O, though, compared to years past, and we have tons of vets, leaders. It's not all on him, but he's a part, and in the end, it falls on him. Funny enough, the Delhomme injury probably gives both himself and Henning somewhat of a pass.

I rank this pretty highly on the list of your more creative insults.

Not that I even know what this thread or this arguement is all about...this line jumped out at me as I was scrolling through the thread and it made me laugh.

Sounds like something a superhero or Jay & Silent Bob might say, "Adventure, excitement... a Jedi craves not these things."
