Draft Projection: Lottery to mid first round

Positives:
Henderson has shown the ability to go coast-to-coast.
Versatile 2-guard can do just about everything well.
Plays the game very smoothly.
He's a great athlete, has NBA strength
Has a very consistent midrange jump shot
Is quick enough to take his man off the dribble
Strong enough to post up guys
Excellent rebounder for a guard
Good basketball IQ
Excellent perimeter defender

Negatives:


Needs to increase his range on his jump shot
Still not a consistent 3-point threat
A bit undersized for his position
Very inconsistent for his first two years at Duke

 

No left hand. At all.

 

That's the only reason he might fall to us.

 

He'll struggle to be an average player. Unfortunately, we're about 3 spots away from getting somebody decent.

 

I agree. I felt like he massively underachieved in college and I see no reason why he'd suddenly start bringing it every night in the pros.
