Help!

I've been sent some pictures saved as a PDD file (whatever the hell that is!)...I cannot for the life of me, open the damn things. I would ideally like to save them as JPG - but I can't even open the attachment to save them!

Does anyone have any idea how I can open these sodding pictures? It would probably help to know what a PDD file is for starters. I feel quite stupid exposing my crap computer skills to the Board like this - but if anyone out there has any wise ideas or helpful tips - they'd be gratefully received.

PDD's are usually printer definition files (not to be confused with Acrobat pdf's). Someone here will know for sure. Sorry.

Can you e-mail one to me? Sometimes they have the wrong extention, are compressed with the wrong exention, or are postscript and can be dropped into distiller.

Actually, I think PPD's are printer def files (postscript printer definition = ppd, I think).

Maybe they're PSD's (PhotoShop Documents) with a typo?

They could be...well, they're labelled as PDD files - and I think they came from a digital camera hookup. Yes - I'm totally retarded when it comes to this sort of thing. Can you tell?
