Move. The Geese were at the lake long before someone built your house there.

I know someone who purchased very life like white swans and put them to float in the their pond. They also had a couple of them on land. The ones anchored in the water had enough line to appear to be moving. They would move the ones on land everytime they mowed. That seemed to help.

get a border collie or jack russell terrier. they are relentless.

some have tried fake owls or hawks on their piers. we have a flat surface water tank at work and they tend to congregate on it. they shit every 10 seconds and the mess is unhealthy, to say the least. i tried some fake rubber snakes i bought at walmart but they just walked all over them. they shit on the snakes as well.

i've seen boat docks literally covered in goose shit.

Get a real swan. They are territorial and dominant. If the lake is too big buy some fake coyotes and they will stay away.

I'm afraid there's nothing you can do. They'll be running a train on your wife in no time.
