The blue ray movies look so good I find myself not watching movies that arer not in blue ray just because of the picture. I have LCD and plasma and the blue ray in plasma kicks ass.

I noticed that about my Samsung. It's a great setup, but if the BluRay is inferior to another brand, I wouldn't let that setup feature sway my decision. I'd go with another, better brand.

Thanks for the info. The 60-240 mhtz you guys mention, what is this? How important is it?

It is how many times the screen "Refreshes" itself
The faster the speed the better sharper the picture is in FAST action or motion scenes. No blurring in real fast action pictures like even watching Nascar racing, the clearer, sharper image the cars will be at that 240 mhtz. fast rate.
But for a lot of people and the difference in peoples eyes I bet a lot of them can't REALLY tell MUCH difference between those different speeds.
So then you must ask yourself is it REALLY worth the extra dollars to get the highest speed.?
And how many movies of fast action do you watch? Do you watch a lot of fast action things like Nascar? Are you are gammer? Etc.

That's what I've heard. I am leaning towards the Samsung as Consumer Reports as well as friends rave on them. The LED is the newest and best on the scene now but to get a 46 inch one you are looking at 1500-1700. How much of a difference is there between the LCD and LED. You can get a higher screen Refresh Rate in LCD for a lot less than a comparable LED .

Dang, I thought LEDs would be a lot more expensive than that.
