I'm confused by that report, because the judge's decision already has been completely wiped from his record due to the nature of trial de novo.

Oh I definitely think it will get reduced so they shot high initially so they could settle on a more palatable number. I believe I read recently the NFL sued the NC Attorney General and Mecklenburg Police department for all the info they had on the case. From what I gather Hardy roughed her up pretty good 4 times. Either way he's not our headache anymore and Goodell is still s douchebag. I think the review of the suspension has to happen within a week so we will see.

As far as I know the NFL only got access to the pictures. It's also completely wrong to say "Hardy roughed her up 4 times." It was one single incident, but the NFL condemned four alleged parts of that one single incident. And even those are exaggerated based on the accounts that I've read.

I had read Goodells letter and it said he
    • Threw her into a futon
    • Choked her to the point she had visible marks
    • Slammed her head into something
    • and threw her on to something with semi automatic weapons on it
Now whether or not that was one incident who knows. Goodell is going overboard after his under estimating the Rice debocle

*sigh* Every single one of those four details are things we've already discussed in this thread. It was all part of the same incident when the cops were called.

This is what I was reading.

"The NFL's investigation concluded that Hardy violated the Personal Conduct Policy by using physical force against Nicole Holder in at least four instances," the statement read.

Ok I guess. Instances to me sounded like 4 different times with the 4th in this case the time she called the cops. No matter

I hope it gets reduced to 4 games so we get a better compensatory pick
