    Yeah, media is reporting that his first game back will be on Thanksgiving Day against the Panthers.

    No way that suspension stands. It's either getting dramatically shortened or thrown out completely.

    I read that this suspension was justified under old rules. I'm guessing it gets knocked down to minimum 6 games, maybe 7

    You guess wrong. Remember that the NFL tried to justify its Ray Rice indefinite suspension under the old system as well, and that was thrown out completely by the arbitrator. The NFL then tried to justify its suspension against Adrian Peterson and that was thrown out by the arbitrator. Trying to suspend Hardy for ten games because he supposedly violated the "personal conduct policy" is idiotic and guaranteed to fail. The NFL knows the suspension will either get reduced to ~4 games or thrown out completely; they're only doing this for grand-standing. They would rather do something they know is wrong and will get overturned than something that would potentially offend the public, like when they gave Rice only a two game suspension initially.
