    I was thinking the same thing. This, and Cam's contract on the horizon - don't see any way we could afford it. I doubt we trade him though, that would be very UnPantherlike.

    im interested to see if changing the GM has any effect at all, or if this truly is the JR show

    I really doubt it. As a 6th round pick, he's been playing for peanuts so far. If I were in his shoes I'd want the biggest contract I could get.

    The overarching theme of "win right now" that we've seen through the years could very well be JR's mandate, but in no way do I think he actually runs the football operations. I am worried that we've not seemed to change our approach one bit, but it's still way early to judge Gettleman.
