Hard Drive Space/Usage

    my old toshiba laptop has a 150gig hard drive. it is showing as 98% full. i have a documents folder with about 75gigs of torrents. and the rest of the hard drive has about 12gig of other stuff on it. where would the remaining 50gigs being used?

    Do a search on your hard drive using the filter *.* then after it has found all files sort the list by the size. This will give you a global view of files and their sizes. Sometimes temp files locations can get large such as your temp internet files folder. those porn videos take up a lot of space.
