Hanging a picture

    first you have to tear out the drywall. then put the nail in the stud where you want to hang the picture. then you have to install new drywall. Be sure to measure so you can pre-cut the nail hole in the new drywall so it fits snugly over your pre-installed nail. once you've put up the new drywall and have the joints mudded up and sanded smooth, paint or wallpaper to finish. Lastly, grasp each side of the picture frame firmly in your hands and place the wire that's on the backside of said picture over the nail. move side to side until level. Stand back, place hands on hips and gaze at the picture. Now you're done.

    i went through that whole thing last year... I got pics some where, I'll post some...

    but once I finished, the wife said "can you make it a little higher?"


    needless to say, she no longer lives in the household

    My wife, Arleen, bought a bunch of pictures at this big sale down at the Days Inn last Sunday. They was real cheap and she got 27 of them. She wants me to put them up in some kind of pattern in our hallway.

    Do you have any idieas as to how I could best arrange them?

    I can assure you all of our walls are dry. Except the one directly to the right of the toilet. I sometimes sway when I piss and I've soaked the wall and toilet paper roll on more than one occasion. Now, about these muddy joints and such......
