He's just a guy. Having someone versatile enough to backup at guard and center is nice, but Hangartner is still below average. Hurney will probably let him ask around and if there's not much of a market, maybe he re-signs here on the cheap.

I didn't look to make him into something more than he is. I'm worried about veteran depth, not him specifically. The local media looks to be going on about the guy as if he were the equal of our starters, and he certainly wasn't.
It's good to see GH and Omiyale cashing in on our success, but they weren't what made us successful.

Buffalo is pretty good at assembling talent, but they suck at finding starters. Does that make any sense?

no cohesiveness, no sense of direction. Fucked up the Dockery trade and now get Hangartner to replace him. Give it a year or two they'll be replacing him.

I think they have a pretty decent roster. It just seems like they don't find the right guys to start, or put guys in the right position. It's particularly true on the offensive line. Tutan Reyes, Dockery, now Hangartner...who's that big fuck they have at RT who can't pass protect worth a shit? Guys like that.

Hangartner against Jenkins, Wilfork, and Ferguson twice a year each. Ouch.

yeah, sure, he gives up ton of weight, strength, and talent to each of them, but according to the Observer he "dazzled the Bills with his knowledge of the different defensive fronts" he might face.

Oh well. He's smart, always has been. One of our top Wonderlic scorers ever. Best of luck, watch your ass.
