Gruden rumor

    Wasn't Gruden one of the youngest coaches in the league when he came in? And then youngest in a SB too?

    Dick Vermeil was gone from the game for a while and came back... I never really thought Gruden was done

    Gruden was also a notorious workaholic who slept at the team's facilities and spent 18+ hours a day doing something football-related. He admits that coaching football made him a bad husband and father.

    Gruden has apparently been obsessed with the spread offense during his time away, for what that's worth.

    does it for most at this level (can't believe I'm about to source this to this: Coaches Are Freaks)

    You don't want a Spurrier giving you almost nothing, but you have to have some perspective and clarity.


    It's integrating its way into a lot of offenses. The tables have turned, college influences pro.
