    chi tribune says they might have agreed on extension..

    The Bears gave Olsen’s agent Drew Rosenhaus permission to shop Olsen, and they are believed to have come to terms with the Panthers on a contract extension as the 2007 first-round draft pick was entering the final year of his rookie contract with the Bears.

    I'm cool with the extension. The dude is a finesse player but he's a damn good receiver.
    I remember many people had us taking this guy in the 1st round back in '07.

    He will be a key part of our offense for years to come I'm fine with him costing anything but a first.

    Better be a fourth and a solid reserve.

    What it'll probably be, is a second this year, a first next year, the entire draft in 2033, and Jordan Gross.

    They're known to want a big physical WR not a smallish slot guy, of which they have plenty, who is still a major project. Barnidge isn't exactly one of the blockers Martz loves in his TEs.
