If you think Dawn Staley has more popularity or significance in womens sports in the Olympics than Mia your dumb as a door knob... There is no American Woman that deserved to carry the flag more than Mia and no American Female that would register higher on a popularity polll..

Sorry... Mia is the most "known" female athlete in the olympics and IMO, contributed the most to female sports in the USA in her career. Who/what is finch?

What a gig; standing around with your dong hanging out.

Looks like a bunch of meatheads to me.
Certainly is nice that Allen Iverson is in there representing the good ole US of A... Wonder if he's playing, coaching or just whining(?).

Really nice that they used a DJ for the opening music too, instead of live players. Sign of the times, I suppose, still sucks/bites it. Reckon real musicians'll be a thing of the past, for museum pieces, in the not-so-distant future. Fucking sucks.

I just can't get hopped up over this commercial/pissing contest fiasco.

Well, things are off to a good start, the flame went out  Carried that flame around the world and OOPS!

That has got to be the UGLIEST contraption for a torch I have ever seen. Someone needs to test the builder for drugs. If I were a flame I wouldn't want to be there either.

not that i'm a huge fan of Iverson or the NBA, but he was one of the FEW that actually made the effort to play on the US olympic team. many declined the opportunity/invite to do so....those are the ones who would draw my criticizm. good for him.
