#1) You've been wrong about everything else over and over and over again.

#2) No one besides you has ever accused me of stalking someone.

#3) You clearly fantasize about guy on guy stuff a lot. I just don't want to be involved in your fantasies.

"So is DW to blame? Is Newton? Is Mike Shula? I don't play those games. Those games are for people who blazed the internet minutes after the game to eternally damn whoever they predetermined they'd blame. It's a team game, and the team lost. It doesn't make it better to point a finger. I won't even point at the Ron Rivera mistake of not going for it on 4th and inches - something he constantly chooses not to do, no matter how much sense it makes."

lol, still as self-righteous and passive aggressive as ever. Criticism is the entire point behind analysis, otherwise you're just recapping or cheerleading. Someone with team sports experience doesn't think that "it doesn't make it better to point a finger." It isn't good for the team to point fingers at each other in the media, but it's absolutely essential to review the flaws and negatives for both coaches and players in order to fix things and get better. "It doesn't make it better to point a finger" is what caused Marty Hurney to stick around for so long.

I get what he's saying about Shula showing different looks instead of being formationally predictable, boring, and awful like Jeff Davidson was. Still, you can't call that a "dynamic offense" when it amassed only 243 total yards on 49 offensive plays. There weren't enough pass plays in general and definitely not enough play-action. There also wasn't enough effort made to take advantage of Cam's athleticism. If you don't want to use the read option then at least use some boot action to get him in space and give him a run-pass option. The play-calling actually reminded me a lot of Carolina against South Carolina in that it seemed scared to take risks.

As for his other comments, the OL did surprisingly well but I think that had a lot to do with Seattle's depleted front. Their DTs are undersized anyway, and with their top three edge rushers gone it wasn't a true test. Then Godfrey did look great on that one blitz, but he was also the guy who was late to help Thomas on the touchdown. Obviously I don't agree at all with the characterization of Cam as "accurate" either. The box score makes it seem that way, but that had a lot to do with the screens and dump-offs. As noted, Olsen dove for one catch and Smitty lunged for another. In addition to the play where Olsen was wide open only for the ball to be at his feet, there were the usual air-mailings any time a pass was attempted downfield. He only forced one ball into coverage that he shouldn't have that I can recall, which is nice, but that performance was pretty mediocre overall. Mediocre is fine if you're a game manager trying not to lose it for your team, but doesn't get it done if you're the focal point of the offense.
