the refs sucked big time, calling way too many penalties on the cardinals.

They called a lot of penalties on both sides. 6 in Pitt in the final quarter.

Boomer said that they could have called Gandy for holding Harrison nearly every play. He couldn't block him. Other than the roughing the passer on Big Ben in the third quarter, I thought all the calls were ones the refs had to make.

You don't run fucking holder over. It didn't hurt them that much since they forced another FG, but damn. That sort of stupidity is what loses games.

when a team is physically superior to another team, it'll show up some in penalties... whether it be just sheer strength or frustration, but that's part of the game...

roughing the passer was ticky tack, but he's a poster boy... the harrison penalty though... that was brutal, but they only lost a 1/2 yard...

There was a PI call on Zona that was pretty ticky tack too. And I noticed some small clock issues, that turned out not to matter.

The crew for what its worth (according to ESPN radio) was the highest rated of all the crews all season, conincidentally they also called the most penalties, so if you look at it, the calls were to be expected. The RtP was the only questionable one I thought.

As far as running over the holder, is he basically untouchable unless the FG is blocked, or he becomes a runner on a fake? It looked like the AZ guy tried to pull up when he realized he was going to hit him.

Agreesome. I've heard that line on Gandy a couple of times now. And some other stupid stuff......Taylor throwing punches out-of-bounds? Harrison punching someone on the ground during a punt? Just fucking stupid.

    Harrison >>> Peppers.

Gandy handled Pep very well. Pretty much closes the book on Julius if you ask me.

Harrison's size, ability make Peppers look like a high school player.
