Aaron Rogers is awesome, I wonder if part of the reason that he is so awesome is that he sat on the bench a couple of years behind Favre before playing. Alex Smith will probably never be much of a QB.

I hope we let Moore start this year or at least until it becomes obvious that he is not getting it done or the playoffs are gone. I think it will help Clausen in the long run.

USA Today gave the Panthers a C-. I agree that giving up a #2 to trade up for Amanti Edwards was a steep price to pay.

it was just completely stupid . . . I'm one of the people who believe that Edwards would have been there at 112, or probably 124. If they were able to hold their water for Clausen why the fuck weren't they able to keep from ass blasting the bed for such a huge question mark sort of player?
Unless the guy is the 2nd coming of Smitty I will be bitchin about this one

That is a little harsh, the Edwards trade was suspect but the rest of the draft was pretty solid. Clausen was great value. Lafell, Hardy, Norwood and Pike also came to us later than many projected they would go.

I agree. IMHO, you just don't blow a 2nd round pick in this offense on a wildcat QB/slot receiver/return specialist. Not unless he's Devin freaking Hester with better hands. He's gonna have to prove himself on the field for me to be cool with that move. But then again, that could be said for a lot of our picks this year.

Draft guru here and seriously this is the best draft we have had since the Morgan, Jenkins, Smith draft. Clausen did it at NDame and seriously how many guys with his hype did it. NONE.

Gettis has a chance to be special if he proves himself. Will he? Unknown. Kid is sick athletically.

Admittedly, I hated Armani at first. But, he is crazy versitile and could be the 3rd QB saving a roster spot. I like Pike so that will be interesting.

Both corners we picked up in the 7th probably don't make it...good players but just not enough there.

Pugh will surprise on ST and kid is an athletic freak.

All in all, I like the Panthers offseason especially considering they are clearly saving resources. Hmm.. again... why? Cowher.
