I didn't know that Mathis could play center. Interesting. Want him at guard, though. Way too good to put at C right now.

Mathis should end up starting, but sometimes guys don't break a lineup because of a lack of wanting change. It's happened here. Is he stronger, better, and more athletic than Reyes? Yeah.

Wharton, Wahle, Mitchell, Mathis, Gross...looks good to me, or any iteration of that works.

specifically, if you look at our picks (and where we got them), we did much better getting Shelton and Mathis comapred to SF's Baas and Gore.

I like the draft. A+... but I give out A+ every year

I know the drafts look a lot better when we don't have as many holes to fill. The last couple of years has been a great cobination of using free agency & the draft...as if the right hand actually knows what the left hand is doing...

Gave 'em an "A". Draft so far looks solid and if they can find another gem or two on Sunday it will be time to :229031_ha the Panthers front office.

Despite all the love Baas was getting, apparently Mathis was rated just behind him by most and ahead of him by some (though I admit I knew jack and $#!+ about him). Meanwhile Shelton is a hell of a lot better than Gore.
