The NHL creates the potential for natural rivalries with Raleigh and Atlanta and we all know how much we hate Raleigh here! I think you need both to be successful in this market because the cost of an arena is so prohibitive. The only way to make it palatable is to get two franchises in here that can split the cost and then the taxpayers only get hit with a smaller portion but get two teams in return..plus lose the scumholes shinn and woolly.

I also feel like we should have been soliciting another team all along and made shinny and his whore the laughingstocks of the NBA. Bad move city council.

I am more in favor of an NHL team, besides my love for the game, the fact that their attendance is not in the decline that the NBA's is.

Well I don't care. I grew up going to reds games and and at least I'll get a couple of years seeing teams that I saw as a child. At least AHL teams play good hockey and a not totally made up of has beens and never will be's as the the ECHL is.

 

Of all the pro sports...the NBA is by far the most boring!
